Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo West National Park

Your 2 days Tsavo West safari from Mombasa begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa, Nyali, Bamburi, or Diani Beach at around 5:30 am.
Drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway towards Tsavo West National Park, arriving mid-morning at the park gate.
Enjoy your first game drive in Tsavo West National Park where you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and antelopes roaming across the savannah.

Proceed to your lodge or camp for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, visit Mzima Springs, a natural oasis with crystal-clear water where hippos and crocodiles can be seen. Later continue with an afternoon game drive exploring the Shetani Lava Flows and the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp in Tsavo West.

Day 2: Tsavo West – Mombasa

Start the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to see predators such as lions and hyenas as well as elephants and other wildlife.

Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out.

Enjoy a final en-route game drive in Tsavo West National Park as you exit the park and drive back to Mombasa.

Arrival in Mombasa is usually in the afternoon around 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, marking the end of your unforgettable 2 day Tsavo West safari from Mombasa.
